As a restaurant owner, implementing an excellent customer service is essential for your business. Your business is depended on how you treat your customers, no matter how good your food and ambience is, but if the customers are not handled properly, they won’t come back to your restaurant.  When people visit your restaurant, they want to feel welcomed, greet them with warm smile and respect and give them your undivided attention. Take care of your guest while providing them excellent meal; make sure they have no complaint whatsoever.

According to Harvard business school study, good customer service increases company revenue massively for catering business in Indianapolis. The one reason people avoid going to certain food places is because of the rude and long waiting treatment. It is an integral part of the food business, if you looking for ways to improve your customer service, then you need to focus on few things. Start with speaking appropriately and sophistically, even if you are the top restaurant in Indianapolis, you need to treat your guest right; greet them warmly, if they have made prior reservation then escort them to their table. Serve them welcome drink or any of your best beverages. Address them properly, usually ‘sir & Ma’am’ works fine, while taking order listen to them carefully without interrupting, repeat the order to them once you have jotted it down.  

One of the frustrating thing at the restaurant is to wait for the food, do not ever make them wait for more than 10 minutes. Even if you a home delivery order, do not make them wait. No matter how much you claim that you have the best restaurant delivery system in Indianapolis, if your customer have to wait, all your claims go down the drain.  Hunger makes people cranky and irritating, if they have to wait then they might leave your premises in anger or might not come the next time. This might spread around negative publicity for business and services. It is known that winning back a disappointed customer is next to impossible. First of all do not let any of your guest complaint about anything but if any problem arises, talk to them personally. Try to clear out the problem as soon as possible. These points might seem superficial and obvious to anyone but most of the hospitality services forget to implement these rules and lose customers. So, keep these small things in mind and you will have your place flooded with eager diners to taste your delicious food.
