If you are looking to set up a successful business with low investment, then import/export is your best option. It requires low investment and it gives you exposure of working with clients from all over the globe. It does not require previous experience of running the business but in order to run it successfully you will have to focus on each and every detail. If you are determined enough then your business will be booming in no time and you will be making lot of money because the agent gets commission of 10% on every shipment.

There are so many local manufacturer looking to expand their business globally but unable to do so as they have low budget, that where import/export business opportunity comes in. To run this business you need to have an air for diplomacy and able to sell the product. To kick it off you will need to find eager manufacturer/organizations looking to go global, convince them that though you are new in the market but still you can do the work better than established firms. Initially, you will have to make connection, establish relationships with big organization but once it's done, it will benefit your business massively.

Products like sports equipment’s, computer components, electronics, housewares; garments, tools, gadget, etc. are waiting to find foreign market. There are heavy import/export service demands in Ohio; you can exploit the opportunity by coming onboard with them as their shipments. Every government encourages export as it generates great revenue in country's economy. Initially, you can start the business by just having a telephone at home, a file system, business card and a letterhead. Till you have made your connections, a sophisticated letterhead would come in handy. As you progress, you will need a cable address and telex hook-up and a person to handle the shipment and a reliable supplier.

Once the business has been established, you will become familiar with shipping terms, quotation and delivering goods. It is a high profit enterprise business; you can make lot of money and heavy commissions as well. Although it is not a business for everyone, people who can put dedication and determination only those can succeed in this business. To expand the business, you need to learn in depth about the product you are selling. While making foreign export, try to make contacts with people abroad. Make connection in every city/country you visit, establish a brand awareness. These connections will help you grow your business.
